Doyle is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, has served as chairman of the Grievance Committee and Professional Standards Committee for the Jacksonville Board of Realtors, and has served as the state President of the NC Chapter of the National Association of Master Appraisers. Doyle is a supporter of many charitable organizations, school functions and activities, and has volunteered his time as youth coach for soccer, baseball and basketball.
